Meet your Ross Tours representative at Sydney Domestic Airport for your Qantas flight to Perth. On arrival in Perth our Tour Leader Colin Barlow will transfer you to the Duxton Hotel, our home near the Swan River for 2 nights. Join your fellow travellers at our Welcome Dinner tonight.

This morning we head to wildflower hotspot, Wireless Hill Park. The panoramic views of the city & Swan River are breathtaking! Then we visit the wildflowers of South Beach & Bold Park. Finish the day at Perth’s iconic Cottesloe Beach with dinner & sunset views.

To Hyden today through WA Wheatbelt Country. Stop at Corrigin, known as the ‘Town of Windmills’. Carpets of everlasting daisies & proteaceae plants including banksias, grevilleas, hakeas & dryandras are a feature of this area. Visit the 2,700 million-year-old Wave Rock.

Travel to Esperance through Salmon Gum country where pink barked eucalypts & carpets of wildflowers colour the landscape.

We’re travelling east to Cape Le Grand National Park. Bring binoculars as bird watching is on the agenda: Cape Barren geese, Western Ground Parrots & Carnaby’s Black Cockatoos.

Travel through wetlands & mallee country to Hopetoun. See water birds & iconic wildflowers incl. red kangaroo paw & lemon flowers of the grey cottonheads.

The 42nd Annual Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show is our highlight today. Over 700 different species are featured at the show - celebrating the abundance of floral diversity in the region.

Fitzgerald River National Park
The Fitzgerald River National Park is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. So far, 1883 plant species have been identified here, 75 of which are found nowhere else. Look out for Qualup Bells, Possum banksias, regelias, bell-fruited mallee, scarlet banksia & woolly bush.

We’re off to explore the triangle between Hopetoun, Jerdacuttup & Ravensthorpe, recognised as one of the most botanically significant areas in Australia. Check into our Albany hotel, home for the next 4 nights. The Albany coast is one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world.

Explore the unique beauty of WA’s ancient southern coastline & floral diversity. First, we head to the Gap & Natural Bridge. The nearby Regional Wildflower Garden is home to over 100,000 indigenous plants. Step back in time at the historic Whaling Station and the ANZAC Centre.

Ascend the treetops of some of the tallest trees on earth. The Valley of the Giants Treetop Walk gives you a bird’s eye view of ancient red tingles (Eucalyptus jacksonii) - trees whose origins trace back to Gondwana!

The Kings Park Festival celebrates the amazing plant life of Western Australia, showcasing thousands of wildflowers and more than 3,000 WA plant species, in showstopping floral displays. Farewell Dinner at the Duxton tonight.
